The brand new campaign style for the WWF Youth Awards, an annual competition that encourages young people to get involved in the field of people and the environment, climate and nature. The branding guidelines have been developed in 2020 in the languages Dutch, French, and English, as well as all visual communication connected to the Youth Awards.
This branding style exudes youthfulness and cheerfulness, but also activism and persuasion. This style fits the target group of 16-25 year olds that WWF is trying to appeal to with this project.
During the preparations of the 2022 Awards, the style received a true face-lift. By using the WWF social media in a collaborative way, participants of previous editions were given a platform to share their experiences, stories and results. They were awarded a place of honor in the communication of the 2022 Awards.
I initially started working on the campaign by creating various logo- and style suggestions based on the values of the Youth Awards: Education, Innovation, Youth empowerment, and Advocacy. After a few rounds of feedback, I summarized all style elements in the WWF Youth Awards Brand Guidelines.
Besides the brand guidelines, I created multiple types of communication for the online campaign including Instagram and Facebook visuals with images of a diverse group of youngsters.

Instagram stories and TikTok templates were an important part of the campaign strategy to reach the target audience of the Youth Awards. The template for TikTok has been used as an overlay for video's before posting them on TikTok. This is an easy and efficient way to ensure all of your content is branded to amplify the awareness for the campaign.
In addition to logos and communication tools such as social media posts, stories, banners, and videos, I designed a number of documents and forms, as well as a website. Instead of a standard form, I chose to continue the branding in the official documentation of WWF, ensuring that applicants to the awards are fully immersed in the WWF Youth Awards atmosphere from the moment of entry.
